When you turn it on, it makes no noise at all.
The green light is displayed on the control panel, and the orange warning light is also lit. Both lights are solid, not blinking
The screen is blank.
You can turn the printer off using the button.
I've tried removing the cable for a few minutes and plugging back in but this hasn't helped.
Does anybody know what the issue might be and how I can solve it?
Many thanks

@bhigson, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Let us try to cold reset the printer:
Press and hold the GO & JOB CANCEL button while powering on the printer. After all the LEDs are blinking, release buttons.
Check the display.
If the issue persists, this could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Hi Kumar,
There is no Go button. Only an "OK" Button. Pressing this with the Cancel button as you describe doesn't work. Nothing changes. I've had this issue in the past but previously seemed to resolve itself. This time it hasn't. When researching this previously, I notice that others have had a similar issue. Is there any internal HP guidance on this issue?

I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
I hope that helps.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
Cheers.
