LaserJet Pro M102W

I purchased my LaserJetPro M102W earlier this year. It is printing crazy slow-about one page per minute. This is a new issue - it wasn't doing this before. Please advise how to fix it.

@yycSheila, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Let us try printing a test page and check if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Press and hold the Resume/Cancel button  on the printer control panel, and then release it when the Ready light  blinks.

The Configuration Report and Network Summary (wireless models only) print.

How is the printer connected to the computer?

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

Try printing.

For more info on resolving slow printing issues, refer to - Slow Printing

If the issue persists, let us perform an NVRAM reset on the printer. (Perform this step only if the test page from the printer prints slowly)

I have sent you a private message with the reset instructions. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
