Printer: HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw Color Multifunction Printer

Recently I started having this issue where the printer will print random thick black horizontal lines across the paper. The weird thing is that it will only do this with the first few prints; after that, it will work fine.

Has anyone heard of this issue before, and if so, is there a fix?

I have already tried to clean the printer through the settings.

Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting print quality issues, follow these steps to fix the issue.

Print a cleaning page

  1. On the Home screen, touch the Setup icon ().

  2. Touch Service, and then touch Cleaning Page.

  3. Load plain letter or A4 paper when prompted.

  4. Touch OK to begin the cleaning process.

  5. A page feeds through the product slowly. Discard the page when the process is complete.
