Hello, my HP LaserJet Pro M118dw has been producing gray horizontal streaks on the right hand side of printouts, about 1 inch wide. I performed cleaning mode, no difference. Upon inspecting the imaging drum, there are toner deposits around portions of the drum matching the streaks on the paper. I cleaned the imaging drum, but additional toner deposited on the drum within a few printouts, producing smears again. I replaced the imaging drum with the same results, additional toner deposits on the drum within a few printouts. Upon inspection, the toner appears to transfer from a foam roller installed behind the imaging drum. Manually cleaned that and had about 20 clean printouts before the smears started to appear again. I have also replaced the toner twice.
I'm using hp toner and the imaging drum is an HP part as well. How do I fix this printer?
Thanks for your help.
