I have a new printer, purchased from Costco in the US. During setup, error "incompatible supplies" appeared. HP support has been less than helpful so far. After reading some messages here, I think a regional reset may help. Any assistance would be awesome.

Thanks!
Tanya

Just got off the phone with tech support and learned that this is only needed if you actually move the device between countries. My issue was resolved by going to the Permanent Storage settings.
First, remove all cartridges from printer, restart printer.
When printer turns on and a white strip status bar appears on the bottom of screen, press on the bottom-left corner of screen and hold. Hold until the bar finishes loading and "Permanent Storage init" appears on the screen. Once the main page loads, go through the setup process steps (language, location, etc.). Once complete, printer will alert you to install supplies. Insert cartridges one at a time, and close the cover after each. Let printer initialize and accept the printer cartridge. Repeat this step for each toner cartridge until all are installed and ready.
Best of luck!
