Hello, Everyone.

I work I.T. at a large organization that uses 95-97 percent HP Printers and I've never come across an issue such as this.

I've ran plenty of tests and didn't come out victorious. The issue is that if there is a PDF document that is suppose to be printing light grey, it'll come out either light purple or a sandy looking color.

Steps I've done:

  • Updated the Firmware and Drivers
  • Tested on another computer
  • Printed from Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Edge
  • Tested the same PDF on another printer of the exact same Model/Firmware (printed correctly)
  • Reset the settings to default on the printer
  • Compared the settings of both printers and they are the same (same printer model as well)
  • Changed the cartridges with genuine (when I changed the yellow, it changed the color from light purple to a sandy light color)
  • Ran the color calibrations, twice
  • Ran the cleaning page
  • Ran the reports (color printed perfectly, even the light grey)

When printing all of the test pages that have to do with color, there are no issues. All colors print perfectly as they should. It's only when I try to print certain documents that the issues with. I am in need of some help from the community/HP support please.

Thank you.
