Hello,
I recently bought HP M234sdwe and I am quite satisfied with this budget printer. But, I just figured out that the print quality is very dependent on the device I use including Mac and iPhone. I mean, even if I print the same pdf file, the print quality is very different when I use Mac and when I use iPhone. Even on my iPhone, the quality differs when I use HP Smart app and when I use the other apps via AirPrint.
This is quite annoying. Especially, when I use Mac via AirPrint, it is the worst print quality. The best one is usually printing via HP Smart app on iPhone. It looks like when I see the poor print quality, it is due to a kind of resolution setting because the printed copy looks like printed from a 150dpi document... Also, the letters become very bold.
So, I tried to change the Quality setting in my print dialog box, but even I changed it to Best, but there is no difference.
I think this is not a hardware issue but a software issue. So, I wanna try some other drivers supporting LPD or IPP, but it seems that only AirPrint is supported for this product.
Can you fix this problem?
