Hi ,

We have new printer out of the box M283fdw says incompatible toners ,. Done firmware upgrade changed toners to new set same message , 

Please advise

Are you using HP ink toners?

Make sure the ink toners are properly installed in the printer. Refer to - Replacing Toner Cartridges

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document. 

 

If the issue persists, you may get the printer replaced from the place you bought it, or please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer as you have already used 2 sets of new ink toners. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
