Have you tried printing a configuration page from the control panel of the printer? Are these oem or 3rd party cartridges. did the problem start before or after the cartridge change? You can look on the left side of the cavity where the cartridge sled loads there are 4 drum contacts. I have had the black one fall out before but was able to reseat it.
