Hi @Spdreycer,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035/8030 is not printing in color, even though the ink levels are full and you've cleaned and replaced the cartridges,
here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve the issue:
1. Check Printer Settings:
- Windows:
- Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer and select Printing preferences.
- Under the Paper/Quality tab, ensure that Color is selected instead of Grayscale or Black & White.
- HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer.
- Select your printer, then click Print Settings.
- Under Color, make sure Color Printing is selected.
2. Perform a Printhead Cleaning:
Sometimes, even after replacing the cartridges, the printhead might be clogged. Here's how you can clean the printhead using your printer:
- From the printer’s control panel, go to Settings → Printer Maintenance → Clean Printhead.
- Perform the cleaning process at least twice, then check if color printing resumes.
3. Update Printer Firmware/Software: Update the firmware on an HP printer
Outdated firmware or drivers may cause issues with color printing.
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest firmware and drivers for the HP OfficeJet Pro 8035.
- Install any updates and restart both the printer and computer.
4. Check for Paper Type:
Certain paper types might affect the ability to print in color. Ensure you are selecting the correct paper type in the Printing Preferences.
5. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: HP Print and Scan Doctor
HP has a diagnostic tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor that can help resolve printing issues:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool from the HP website.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
6. Try Printing a Color Diagnostic Report:
- From the printer control panel, go to Reports or Tools and print a Print Quality Report.
- If the report only shows black ink and no colors, it might indicate a hardware issue with the printhead.
7. Check for Printhead Failure:
If the printhead is faulty, it may not dispense color ink properly, even though the cartridges are fine. You may need to replace the printhead if none of the above steps work.
8. Reset Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on to reset it.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
