The hard reset that another employee suggested doesn't work. I have all my cartridges in the printer. The printer recognizes them all and they are HP cartridges. Just one day the printer only started printing in black and yellow. It does not recognize the other colors at all. I have updated my drivers, I've used the HP doctor app and nothing seems to work. I think this is a fault of this particular printer. Please confirm!

I understand the printer does not recognize the Magenta and Cyan ink cartridges. Have you tried using alternate ink cartridges to check if that works?

 

Make sure the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error

 

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
