HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in-One Printer

All of the sudden nothing will print in color. Everything is b&w or grayscale.

These are all the steps I have taken to troubleshoot this issue:

  1. Rebooted
  2. Printed from different apps
  3. Checked printer preferences to confirm color is chosen and not B&W or grayscale
  4. Printed a print quality report (test page) - even this doesn't print any color. Only grayscale
  5. Changed the ink cartridges. I am enrolled in Instant Ink. The blue, pink/red, and yellow were low, so I put in new full cartridges
  6. Cleaned the heads in maintenance. I did this multiple times and did 3 levels of cleaning
  7. Took out the cartridges and checked for any debris
  8. Attempted to copy a photo from the glass - this also created a grayscale of the photo. Did not copy any color
  9. Removed the printer from my laptop, reset it to factory settings, and reset it up

Not one step has made a bit of difference. Because I'm outside the ridiculously small warranty window, I cannot get any support. I work in IT and consider myself at least somewhat competent at troubleshooting an issue like this. I'm so frustrated right now.

If anyone can help. I would so appreciate anything that might give me color back on my all-in-one printer/scanner/copier.

Thank you

Thank you for offering to help! I don't see any private message from you. I went to my private messages, but don't see anything in there from you or anyone else. Can you let me know if we can connect?

ok, this is interesting. Yesterday I could see the private messages by my profile, and I could click the link you provided to see my private messages, though they were empty. Today, I am denied access to the private messages at all. What happened?
