HP OfficeJet Pro 8600
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There have been two recent Microsoft upgrades.  Prior to these upgrades I always had the option of printing documents double-sided.  I can no longer find this option so printer defaults to single-sided.

Likely the drive configuration does not recognize that the device has a duplexer. On your PC go to control panel>devices and printers and right click the icon for your printer and select printer properties from the drop down menu. Click on the device settings tab and scroll down to installable options and confirm that it shows that the duplex unit is installed. If it shows as not installed, click on it to open a drop down menu and pick installed.
