I have had this great working 8715 printer for over 7 years. Only "Genuine HP" cartridges from un-opened (sealed) boxes have been used... never refilled/remanufactured cartridges. Now, suddenly, when I install an unused "Genuine HP" 952 ink cartridge into my HP OfficeJet Pro 8715, the cartridge is rejected by the printer and I get the following message on the printer's little screen: "The indicated cartridge is an older generation cartridge that does not work in your printer. It can still be used with some older printer models." The printer has stopped responding and won't print. I have used, and still use surplus cartridges from eBay or wherever, that are up to two years past guarantee date, but have never had a rejection problem before and they have always printed fine. What happened?? Why is my printer suddenly rejecting 952 cartridges?
