Replaced cartridge with recommended type- 952 and error message displays the "cartridge is an older generation cartridge that does not work...". I have done a hard reset & checked alignment etc as recommended, still displaying error message.
Thanks!

Hi @Minikel4nr,
I'd like to help!
I understand you are facing an Older Generation Cartridge error on the printer.
The ink cartridge you are trying to use is an outdated ink cartridge that was created prior to the release of your printer.
In order to resolve this issue and continue printing, replace the ink cartridge.
For additional information on HP's ink warranty, see Ink Cartridge and Printhead Limited Warranty.
NOTE:HP cannot extend warranty to non-HP, refilled, or remanufactured ink cartridges. HP’s warranty coverage lasts until the HP ink is depleted or the “Warranty Ends” date on the ink cartridge has been reached, whichever occurs first.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

That makes no sense since the ink cartridge that was rejected as "out of date" is the same kind that is recommended and we have used in the past. How can it be "out of date" if this exact cartridge is what HP has recommended directly on the machine? These ink cartridges are $45-$60 EACH, for black...not an acceptable "solution",

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
