Hello,

thanks to the always active warranty, HP has fastly replaced the broken printer with a new one of the same model. I have installed and registered  it  on hp.com and replaced the broken printer with the new printer on Instant Ink. On this morning, after one hour of printing activity, the printer has stopped to print and I have turned it off, but during the restart the display shows a warning that says You cannot use the installed cartridges since the printer is not registered on Instant Ink Pressing the Hide button on the printer display, the printer asks to print the aligning sheet, but pressing the Continue button, the display loops indefinitely. So I have detached the power cable and inserted it again, but I get the same warning related to the cartridges.
Then I have logged to my Instant Ink account and seen the printer registered and online, but no communication is detected despite the printer seemed wifi connected (blue led blinking)..
I have also tried to reinstall the printer, but the setup software don't detect it.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

my HP Officejet PRO 9010 stopped to work on April 15 and today, after many tries, HP support has considered appropriate to replace it with a new one 9010.

Many thanks to Jay_G24 that was promptly disposed to help me before the decision of HP to replace the printer.

I am having a serious issue with my printer. It appears to have updated and now I cannot use it. It informs me that I need to enroll in HP Instant Ink. I have had this program active for almost a year. When I hit the Hide button, it goes to the next screen saying it needs to align the print heads. This goes into a non stop loop that can only be stopped by unplugging the printer. I have scanned it with the HP Assist but there doesn't appear to be any issues. What can I do?

Hello,

is your warranty always active?
I had your identical issue with 9010 but it was solved by the HP support only replacing the printer with a new one.

All the best,

Emiliano

Unfortunately my warranty just expired right before this issue started up.
