The printer will print the colors on the whole page but only prints black on the right margin (1.5'). My print quality page showed no black on most segments except the right margin

I ran all of the the cleaning tools on printer, wiping the printhead bar and cleaning the overflow waste tray.  After all that, it no shows vertical lines all across the area that was previously blank. Is it possible that the printhead isn't shot after all.

Repairatrooper responded to Stacey_K a couple years back on the exact same issue.  I'm hoping there's a chance to fix it. 🙏

The current posted fix does not list the "X" series, possibly due to age. I will explain the procedure that applies to the newer models with no guarantee it will resolve the issue with your X product. First black ink cartridge must have an expiry date of April 2022 or later. Ink formulations have been tweaked to prevent black ink fade (name of your issue). Then the firmware needs to be up to date. The next part of the fix requires the printing of 100 pages of solid black, from a file that HP only provides to service providers. The solid black pages are designed to soften and dislodge the congealed ink that is blocking the black cartridge. The reason only the black suffers from this is that the color inks are dye based not pigment based.
