I have an HP Photosmart 7510 printer connected wirelessly to my Windows 11 laptop. When I attempt to print from a document on a webpage in black and white, I get an essentially blank piece of paper. Apparently this is because my black 564 XL Photo cartridge (the one with the bowtie symbol on it) is empty. I have a full large black 564 XL cartridge (the one with the pentagon symbol on it), but for some reason it won't use it. I found an old thread from several years ago addressing this problem, but the suggested solution of changing the advanced settings to print black only didn't work. It seems to me that the black Photo cartridge should only be used when printing photos, which I never do, and the large black cartridge should always be used otherwise.
