HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer

Love my HP7520 but Cyan won't print - I have cleaned printhead numerous times and ran a Tap41 report and indicates everything is okay.  I went ahead  and ordered a new printhead but printer won't recognize the new printhead.  Have contemplated just getting a new HP but they don't offer the USB or memory card option in something similar.  What else can I do to fix the one I have?  Don't want to break up with HP but I have an unopen Epson sitting on my office floor that I want to return.
