Hi...
A friend gave me a HP Photosmart c4480 - Q8383 ... The serial lookup says Q8388A but the tag on the printer says Q8383
It's missing the cartridge cradle. Anyone know where to get one... Google didn't help me...

you have a "discontinued" printer. EDIT: It may become difficult/impossible to find genuine HP ink for a discontinued printer.

Note that I think that companies (HP, LexMark, Brother) almost "give away" their printers, and then they make their ongoing profit on selling replacement ink-cartridges to you.  So, I recommend that you purchase a new Brother All-In-One. I use "generic" ink, at less than $20 (1 black, 3 unique colours) per "XL" (extra large ink capacity) cartridge, and responsibly recycle your printer at an "end-of-life" electronics location.

List the external power-supply for sale on a site like eBay or Craig's List.

Somebody might pay $20 to $50 if their power-supply dies, and they want/need to buy yours.

Thanks... I kind of figured I was SOL on that part... I'll check Ebay. But I'm already researching a new printer...
And good advice on the power supply. 🙂
