HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I’m attempting to print an image, and no matter what I do the black portion comes out blue. I’ve changed the ink cartridges, tried different types of paper, tried different images, and even tried two different computers. I’ve done countless diagnostics tests, and the black box has nothing inside it. The other colors appear fine and have the three rows of shading as they should. The problem still persists. Please help!

Hi @Kalexander3232
Welcome to HP Support Community. This is a great place to post questions and find answers.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing print quality issues with your HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer wherein it prints blue instead of black.

This issue may occur if the black cartridge is not vented or the printhead is not working.

Please follow the steps from this document.

Let me know if this works.
Take care and have a good day.
