HP 5520

Hi.

I have HP printer 5520. Based on HP Support site I bought ink from series 178 (equal to 364 and 564).

After replacing the used cartridges with the new ones Igot a message that they are incompatible... The printer doesn't work.

What can I do?

Thx

@Mentesh1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Yes, this model printer uses HP 178 ink cartridges in the Middle East. Check if you are using HP ink cartridges.

Make sure the plastic tape if any, is removed from the new ink cartridge before placing it in the printer.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

Insert the old ink cartridges and check if you get the same error.

If not, this could be a defective ink cartridge. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the replacement options.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
