I've never asked a question quite like this before but is there any information or reason on the huge shortage of printer ink? This isn't a technical issue, per se, but I'm having trouble finding ink for my Office Jet, and until then it's just a giant, useless paper weight.
What's going on and causing these shortages? Are there plans to remedy this?
Maybe I can just consider my printer to be a avant-garde art installation until then...

I would guess that a manufacturing problem would indeed create a shortage.
I don't have information on an official recall.
Doesn't mean that isn't one - just means I don't have the document saying this is the case.
You are welcome.
Stay Safe.

Thank you that's interesting. That might be a safe assumption. All the stores in my local area are almost completely out and I was told that they stopped receiving shipments a few weeks ago, but weren't given an explanation.
