Hi, I have an HP Printer 2600 and when I'm printing any document which has a "red font", it prints yellow. The Cartridge is a genuine HP304 and is new. I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled, problem still exists, can anyone in the forum please help.

Hi Betty thanks for your reply, I have tried the following steps from the document you provided;
1: Genuine Ink : Yes
2: Check estimated ink level: Colour cartridge shows full, only recently replaced
3: N.A
4: Align cartridges: Complete
5: Clean the ink cartridges: I don't understand this instruction, Heads: I have a Windows PC and it asks you to go in to Windows to find your printer.
6: Not done yet.
What do you mean mean, does it happen with copies.

This could be a hardware issue.
You could either try replacing the magenta ink or contact the HP Support Team regarding this.
