I recently Purchased an Ink Cartridge online. It was packed and sealed. When I installed it in my printer, I'm getting warning that "HP Protected Cartridge Installed" and I will not be able to use it.
Cartridge I've purchased is new, so how come it is protected? Is there any way to bypass it.
Product number of purchased Cartridge is CZ638AA. I've also searched the security seal on packaging and the product is genuine as per HP online validation process. (id 13615435608)

I understand you are receiving an "HP Protected cartridge" error.

3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
