I am not able to print in color on my HP Smart tank 6001 printer.  I am operating Mac OS Ventura.  

I have

- All software updated

- gone through all of the HP checks

- there is no color management that is found on my computer

- There is no printer options for "color" or "grayscale" in the printer settings

- Th printer was set up last week and will only print in black and white.  

- I have restarted everything

- Print preview shows color but only does black and white

I have printed from word and adobe

 

Please help me as I need this working ASAP for my job!

I also can't print in color from macOS (Sonoma 14.1.1) - everything prints in grayscale.

  • New printer - latest firmware installed.  
    Firmware VersionSAYALIPP1N002.2313B.00
    Built Date2023-03-30

Printer is setup correctly.

  • Diagnostic page shows the three colors perfectly.
  • And I CAN print in color from the HP Smart app on the iPhone - so looks like this is a problem on the macOS driver side.
