Recently bought an HP 7301 All-in-One Printer. First, HP shutting down the printer for non-usage makes the printer GARBAGE as we print via the network. That is a different topic. In my current case, I want to print simple mailing envelopes with a RETURN and MAILING address. The text on the envelope is not clear and not readable. I have aligned the print heads multiple times and I can print the same **bleep** addresses via WORD on 8.5" x 11" paper with no issues with the same printer.

That is a different topic.

The printer can presumably print on envelopes made of supported paper sizes and types.
It's possible there is "something" about the envelopes that the printer dislikes.
For example,
- Too thick -- "too heavy" would perhaps feed incorrectly or jam
- Too thin -- just not likely else you'd notice the envelopes are extra flimsy
- Too damp -- possible
- Too dry -- similar to too damp and also hard to detect
- Odd surface -- too shiny, odd matte, extra absorbent paper
- Odd color -- anything other than white or light cream color
What else?
If you want to sacrifice another envelope (or two), you could try changing the font / ink color.
Will changing the fonts / ink color help?
Possibly.
Example - Word > Mailings > Envelopes > #10 envelope

You are welcome.
True -- the full driver software is certainly a necessary part of the printer support structure.
In particular, the full driver supports printing in Word > Mailings > Envelopes
For those reading:
The full driver provides access to the full range of supported printer features.
The "HP" named software should be available and selected in Printer Properties
What?
IPP / Windows drivers do not provide access to all printer features, including all supported paper sizes and type.
