Hello everyone,
I have a 'HP Smart Tank 7605' multifunction device. I'm somewhat satisfied with it. Unfortunately, both on the printer's own display and in 'HP Smart App (Win11)' the cartridge levels show 100%, even though they are estimated to be 60% - and that for all colors.
Since this is a 'Smart Tank' printer, the argument 'clean cartridge contacts' does not apply. I can see from the outside of the printer that, for example, black is halfway empty and the color tanks are at 60%. Regardless of whether in the printer's menu or in the 'HP Smart App', all ink levels are shown as 100%.
What am I doing wrong?
Best regards,
Gerald.

Hi @Rabbit00 , Hallo,

Because this is a Smart Tank printer the ink levels are only available checking outside of the printer.

Thank you for the information. But then why is there a ink level shown directly on the printer in the menu and also in the 'HP Smart' app under Windows, which falsely stays at 100%? Both the printer itself and the Windows app know the printer model and should 'know' whether it is a model with ink tanks. Apparently neither the printer nor the Windows app is very 'smart' if both do not recognize that the model does not support an electronic ink level indicator.
