Hello community, I use a HP color laser jet 4550 and the picture quality is bad. The printer is not often in use. I attached the print here... Have anyone an idea, what I can do to get better quality? Have all spare parts here 😉
You can write me to my email directly [info@microwave-technologies.com]
No error codes seen. The last pic is the print quality...
Thanks a lot, Frank

From the looks of the print, it appears that you are getting ghosting where the image is not completely bonded to the paper and some of the toner sticks to the fuser rollers and is applied to the paper on the next rotation of the fuser. This is typically caused by either a bad fuser or poor power that prevents fuser from reaching correct temperature.

Thanks for the quick respond. May I got problems, because I moved to my new location and carried the printer (good workout;) with mounted toner cartridges inside. The fuser unit was changed for a while and the toner is stable on the paper.
When the weather is really hot (not this year;(, the printer works better then in the cold and wet winter times.
May I clean inside again and hope it will be better. After a long working time, when the printer getting warm, the problems are less. I tried several types of paper without better results. The most prints I do with my HP LJ 2200 DTN, because he needs not a long time to start working.
