Installed new ink cartridge and HP envy photo 7855 won't print cyan after several rounds of cleaning head, turning on and off, reinstalling, flowing all instructions from troubleshooting. Other colours work wonderfully. HELP.

If the standard troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue with cyan not printing I would suggest the following: remove the color cartridge and gently blot the nozzle plate against a damp tissue. A good cartridge will show a strong blot of cyan, magenta and yellow. If the cartridge is only showing magenta and yellow it may be possible to recover the cartridge: put about 1" of hot (but not boiling) water in a clean coffee cup. Put the cartridge in the water with the nozzles facing down. Let the cartridge soak for about ten minutes. Remove the cartridge and gently blot the nozzle plate. Dry the electrical contacts with a lint free wipe (a clean coffee filter works well for this).
Put the cartridge back in the printer and run a few cleaning cycles. If the cartridge has recovered it will likely continue to work for its normal life. If not I would suggest contacting HP for a replacement, assuming the cartridge is an original HP and still in its two year warranty period.
