Hi All I’ve just bought a HP printer and when registering for inks it says my printer is still registered to another account how do I remove it from the other account thanks

To remove your HP printer from the previous account, you can follow these steps:

Use the HP Smart App:

  • If you have access to the previous account, log in to the HP Smart app and remove the printer from the account settings.

Factory Reset (if necessary):

  • As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on the printer to unlink it from the previous account. Check your printer’s manual for specific instructions on how to do this.

Re-register the Printer:

  • Once unlinked, you can register the printer under your account through the HP Smart app or the HP Instant Ink website.
