Product: HP ENVY Photo 6234 All-in-One Printer

I purchased a 303 XL  black cartridge 2 months ago, it was faulty.  i contacted HP, they eventually sent me a return label  which i attached to an envelope and returned the cartridge. (i have proof of postage}  i have had no response.  They also appear to be ignoring the five emails i have sent them.  is this unusual. what recourse do i have. ?
