HP Officejet Pro 6835 e-All-in-One Printer

HP officejet will not print in color. Went to print preference it is selected for color and also unchecked for grayscale. I just installed new color ink thinking this was the problem even though my last color ink still had liquid in them. I have tried to uninstall the software and install again, I have done cleaning printhead x3 steps. I have along tried all the other printer maintenance such as align head and clean smudge . I have tried turning off and turning back on. I give up ever since the updates on HP I always have problems. This is ridiculous. My printer is not under warranty anymore either. But this seems to be more of a software issue I think because will all new ink there are not even any mixture of color. Only black and white.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi @classicchevy

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 I'd like to help!

I understand you are unable to print in color

To assist better-

1) Are you able to make copies using the printer?

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.

  1. Load plain white paper into the tray.
  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to scroll to Setup, and then touch the Setup icon

    The Setup menu displays.

  3. Swipe the display to scroll to Reports, and then touch Reports.
  4. Touch Print Quality Report. The printer prints the report.

You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable to your printer -  Print Quality Issues

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
