HP system is stating 'Cartridge problem' on my printer but I think the cartridge could be empty.

I have tried asking the virtual assistant several times but was told that my printer was offline and needs to be connected to the internet so that they can see the level of the cartridge  before they can replace the it. However my printers blue light is on steady, indicating that the printer is actually connected to the internet, so I cant go forward with this issue.

The printer wont print or photocopy at the moment, I'm stuck in Limbo
