Hi,
I replaced my HP682 cartridge with HP667XL.
All information I read online said that these 2 cartridges are compatible.
I receive an E zero O error.
I cleaned the contact points, but no success in resolving the error.
I am located in Mexico

Is there a way to reset the printer to allow for 667XL use with my printer?

Hello,
I originally set up my HP Desk jet Plus 6075 in India using HP 682 cartridges. I’ve now moved to Mexico and would like to use locally available cartridges (e.g., HP 667).

Could you please assist with a regional reset for my printer?

  • Model: HP Desk Jet Plus 6075

  • Serial Number: [Insert Serial Number]

  • Original Region: India

  • Current Region: Mexico

  • Current Cartridge Used: HP 682

  • Target Cartridge: HP  667

I understand this reset can only be done once, and I’m ready to proceed.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Since you originally set up your HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6075 in India using HP 682 cartridges, your printer is region-locked to the India/South Asia region. Now that you're in Mexico, where HP 667 cartridges are sold, your printer will not accept them unless you change the printer's region.

A regional reset must be performed to get the printer to detect the current region cartridges.

To perform a printer region reset, you need to meet the following conditions:

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer's full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally, or the new region/country to which you want to reset it.

4. Make sure the HP Smart App is installed too.
