I understand you are not able to print in black. As the printer was not used for a long time, the ink could have dried up or the ink nozzles would be blocked. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Manually cleaning the printhead is not recommended in this model printer.
Did you use more than 1 black ink cartridge to check if the issue persists? If yes, then this is a hardware issue with the printer.
If not, as the issue is related to Instant ink cartridges, I need more information to help you out.
