I've tried everything I can think of and find to do.  My printer does not print true black from any source.  Every print comes out with a bit of a sort of purple tint...definitely not black, white, and gray.  Help please!  Thanks

Sorry for the delay, I had to wait for more cartridges.  No it does not copy or print in true black, grey or white.  Everything has a red to almost purplish cast to it.  I went through the document and did everything with no difference.  Please note..if I did not mention it..I did not have this issue with my older HP printer but I sure do with this new one.  I am concerned enough to not continue with my printing project until I have another printer....but if I have to buy another it will not be an HP.  I have always used HP for my photos and color work.

This seems t be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I hope that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
