Printer is not printing all colors. Only prints in a light shade of blue. This began a few days ago and not sure what might have caused the printer to malfunction. I've tried everything from restarts/cold starts/disconnect cables/etc.
Printed demo page from the printer control panel and it still only prints in blue!

Hi @akoniprimo ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you've already tried some troubleshooting steps, but let's see if we can narrow down the issue further. Here are some additional steps you can take:
- Check Ink Levels: Ensure that all ink cartridges have sufficient ink levels. Even if they're genuine HP cartridges, sometimes they can run out of ink unexpectedly.
- Clean Print Heads: Use the printer's software utility to clean the print heads. This can often resolve issues with faded or missing colors.
- Align Print Heads: Sometimes, misaligned print heads can cause printing issues. Check your printer's manual or online documentation on how to align the print heads.
- Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed for your macOS version. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause printing problems. Software and Drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 All-in-One Printer
- Check Printer Settings: Make sure that the printer settings in both your macOS system preferences and the printer's control panel are configured correctly. Ensure that the color settings are appropriate and not set to grayscale or monochrome.
- Try Another Document or Image: Sometimes, issues with specific documents or images can cause printing problems. Try printing a different document or image to see if the issue persists.
- Reset Printer: If none of the above steps work, try resetting the printer to its factory settings. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
