My HP8616 - although 6 years old - still does a very good job as a family printer. A few month ago i upgrade my NAS to the next operating system version and so SMB1 is no longer an option for me. Running firmware FDP1CN2022AR on my HP i don´t find an option to select the SMB protocol version for SCAN to SMB.
Is there any chance to bring my HP to SMB2?

Hi,
Your printer supports SMB1 only, SMB2 or SMB3 support is offered for later HP printers only, as listed on below support manual:
