Hi,
I had to do a hard reset on my printer due some errors I was getting. Now the printer screen keeps showing the following error and won't let me print or use the printer. I am enrolled to HP Instant ink and have current subscription but can't get past this screen - any solutions please?
'Cartridge cannot be used until enrolled in HP instant ink'.

Hi @Ph2019,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are getting the error message you're encountering indicates that your printer's cartridges are not being recognized as enrolled in the HP Instant Ink program. This can happen after a hard reset. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 1-2 minutes.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Reconnect to HP Instant Ink:
- Make sure your printer is connected to the internet.
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the "Setup" menu.
- Select "HP Web Services" or "Instant Ink".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to re-enable HP Web Services.
Reinsert the Cartridges:
- Open the printer's ink cartridge access door.
- Remove the ink cartridges.
- Gently clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges and in the printer with a lint-free cloth.
- Reinsert the cartridges and close the access door.
Re-enroll in HP Instant Ink:
- Log into your HP Instant Ink account from your computer or mobile device.
- Check the status of your subscription and make sure the printer is correctly enrolled.
- If necessary, follow the instructions to re-enroll the printer.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Ensure your printer has the latest firmware.
- Go to the HP support website and search for firmware updates for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710.
- Download and install any available updates. Update the firmware on an HP printer
