HP Officejet Pro 8600.

ErrorMsg: problem with printer or ink system.

All I did was replace an empty ink cartridge with new HP cartridge.

I tried 2 boxes of HP 951 as replacement. Warranty date on cartridges 2027/10. None of them worked. I talked to HP Support who had me try holding power button while disconnecting power from printer. The doing opposite to power back on. Nothing worked. Told my printer was out of support and tried multiple times to get me to buy the printer subscription for $7.99 / month. No thanks!

HP 951 are the three color cartridges. I tried 1 replaced, 2 replaced and all three. Never changed the black HP 950. All new cartridges produced the error. Putting the old empty HP 951 cartridges back into printer did not give me the error message just the empty cartridge message says to replace.
