Officejet Pro 8610

HPOfficejet Pro 8610.  Blue ink wont print at all.

Suggestion says go to Settings, then Tools.  There does not seem to be a Tools option on my printer

@movielady, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you are not able to print in Cyan/blue. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Try making a standalone copy in color and check if that works fine. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

Check the ink levels and replace any low/empty ink cartridges.

 

Clean the printhead

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to scroll to Setup, and then touch the Setup icon (). The Setup menu displays.

  2. Swipe the display to scroll to Tools, and then touch Tools.

  3. Touch Clean Printhead.

  4. When the first cleaning stage completes, a test page prints. Examine the test page for print quality.

    • If these steps resolved the issue, touch No to skip the other cleaning stages. You do not need to continue troubleshooting.

    • If the issue persists, touch Yes to start the second cleaning stage.

    • Check the print quality page for blue.
