Help!  Any ideas on how to get the printer to recognize the cartridges?  I've tried taking them out twice, cleaning and reinstalling, unplugging and resetting the printer. I have new cartridges.  The printer worked a short time ago - ANY IDEAS?

That’s frustrating, sorry you’re dealing with that. Since the printer was working recently and the cartridges are new, try a full power reset. Turn the printer on, remove the cartridges, then unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall for about a minute. Plug it back in, turn it on, and reinstall the cartridges one at a time, making sure they click in.

Also double-check there’s no protective tape left on the cartridges. If it still doesn’t recognize them, a firmware update might help.
