LaserJet pro 200 color MFP M276nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm dealing with black horizontal lines on the printout; the density of stripes decreases after consecutive prints (after 3/4 consecutive prints, the printout is perfect). In addition, I hear a strange sound coming from the device during printing.

I'm sure is not the drum unit as I replaced it with a brand new one (stripes where present with the previous drum unit too)

Thank you

Hi!

Did anyone respond with a possible solution for the black horizontal lines on the first few pages laserjet?

Thanks!

Lynn

Welcome to the HP support community.

Print a cleaning page

  1. From the Home screen, touch the Setup  button.

  2. Touch the Service menu.

  3. Touch the Cleaning Page button.

  4. Load plain letter or A4 paper when you are prompted.

  5. Touch the OK button to begin the cleaning process.

The product prints the first side and then prompts you to remove the page from the output bin and reload it in Tray 1, keeping the same orientation. Wait until the process is complete. Discard the page that prints.

Check the EconoMode setting

  1. From the software program, select the Print option.

  2. Select the product, and then click the Properties or Preferences button.

  3. Click the Paper/Quality tab.

  4. Verify that the EconoMode check box is cleared. If there is a checkmark in the check box, click the check box to clear it.
