Hi @Bigbear2000,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
Check ink or toner levels from the printer control panel
Many HP printers display ink and toner levels on the control panel.
Look for an Ink drop icon ( or
), a Cartridge icon
, an Ink Levels menu, or a Toner Level indicator.
Check ink or toner levels with the HP Smart app
Use the HP Smart app to check the ink or toner levels for your printer.
Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
View the Estimated supply levels next to the printer image. It might take a few minutes for the ink or toner levels to display.
Check ink or toner levels (Windows)
Use the printer software to check the ink or toner levels.
HP Printer Assistant: Search Windows for the name of your printer, and then select it in the list to open HP Printer Assistant. From the top menu bar, view the Estimated Levels for your printer. If you do not see this feature in the menu bar, try one of the other methods for checking levels.
To download HP Printer Assistant, go to 123.hp.com/setup. Download and open HP Easy Start, and then select the Full Software and Drivers solution when prompted.
Easy Printer Manager (HP Laser printers only): Search Windows for Easy Printer Manager, and then open it to view the Supplies information.
