Officejet 5200

Received message to adjust cartridge. I released both ink cartridges, removed them, then replaced them both back to place (making sure they were seated correctly). I did this several times and kept getting the error. At some point an error said I was out of ink. I checked my account and was told my ink levels could not be read due to a cartridge error and to check to see if they need cleaning. ?? How??

I understand you are not able to print due to this error. To assist better, install one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective ink cartridge.

Make sure the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error
