How do I print Avery labels on my 5740 printer?

HP Recommended
HP Printer

I would like to print labels I have designed on Avery.  The instructions say to click on the "Label" option on the printer dialog.  There is no such option,  What do I do?

Welcome to the HP Community.

Assuming the full driver is available and installed for your OS / version,

The printer can be identified (model),

The file format is something that is recognized (or can be converted),

Many printers can print Avery label sheets.

Caveat:

Older printers / some models do not support custom paper sizes - not all Avery templates are "standard" sized.

What is the Operating System / version you are running on your computer / device?

No Operating System / version information provided.

What is the printer model you are using?

What kind of file are you trying to print?

For example, Word / PDF / less likely, Avery Design and Print format

Relevant to Windows / MacOS:

The Full Feature Software / Full Driver printer software must be installed.

What is the template / form number of the labels?
