I subscribe to HP instant Ink. I thought this program was supposed to monitor my ink cartridges and send additional cartridges when running low in ink. It seems I am out of black ink. However, a cartridge shipment is not planned for one month. I have not significantly increased usage recently. Why did I not receive an ink shipment? If I buy my own cartridge will I be reimbursed? Thank you.

The document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges.  Go to the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower center of the opening screen. 

 

Alternately, you can click on the Virtual Assistant.  When the assistant opens type "Where is my ink?" (w/o the quotes).  The system will ask a few questions and then schedule your shipment.

 

Make sure your printer is left turned on and connected to the internet so it can communicate with the Instant Ink servers.  The printer will automatically switch to a low power standby state when not printing.
