Hi @Billmic,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reseat the small white clip behind the cartridge in an HP DeskJet 3752, follow these steps.

  • Turn off the printer: Ensure the printer is powered off and unplugged to avoid any electrical issues.
  • Open the printer's access door: Lift the front panel or access door to reach the cartridge area.
  • Remove the cartridges: Gently lift the cartridge latch to release the cartridges from their slots, and carefully remove them from the printer.
  • Locate the small white clip: The small white clip you're referring to is likely the carriage latch or clip that holds the cartridge in place. It's located at the back of the cartridge area, just behind where the cartridges sit.
  • Reseat the clip: Gently push the small white clip back into place if it has become dislodged. If it seems loose or out of alignment, ensure it clicks back into its proper position.
  • Reinstall the cartridges: Once the clip is seated properly, insert the cartridges back into their slots, ensuring they are firmly in place.
  • Close the printer access door: After reinstalling the cartridges, close the access door.
  • Turn on the printer: Plug the printer back in and power it on. Check for any error messages on the printer's display or on your computer to ensure everything is functioning correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
