Hi @Rick-Wilson13

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when the printer sounds like it's printing normally but the pages come out blank even though the ink cartridges have sufficient ink.

This issue is commonly caused by clogged printhead nozzles, improperly installed or faulty ink cartridges, dried ink, or a printhead alignment issue. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Using the Printer Control Panel

  • Turn on the printer and ensure plain white paper is loaded in the input tray.
  • From the printer's Home screen, swipe left and tap Setup (gear icon).
  • Select  Tools (the menu name may vary depending on the firmware version).
  • Choose the required maintenance option:
  • Clean Printhead – Cleans clogged printhead nozzles to improve print quality.
  • Align Printhead – Aligns the printhead after installing new cartridges.
  • Clean Smear – Removes excess ink that may be causing smudges.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Print a test page to verify the print quality.

Using the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  • Ensure the printer and your computer are connected to the same network.
  • Print a Network Configuration Page or check the printer's display to find its IP address.
  • Enter the printer's IP address into a web browser.
  • Open the Tools
  • Run the required maintenance task
  • Such as: Printhead Cleaning
  • Printhead Alignment
  • Printer Updates.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
